PT - Physical Therapist

ARMStaffing is looking for a Physical Therapist, Outpatient in Alma, Michigan.

Alma, MI

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days Flexible: can do 5x8's or 4x10 / Hours of operation - Mon-Thu 7am - 6pm, Fri 7am - 2pm

The Physical Therapist will engage in patient-focused activities that include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in line with physical therapy standards and physician orders. The role involves collaborating closely with Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides to deliver high-quality patient care.

• Evaluate the patient’s function through formal and informal testing measures to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
• Develop goal-specific treatment regimes based on assessment data and the patient’s tolerance to treatment.
• Submit a written treatment regime to be included in the treatment plan, authorized and coordinated with the physician. Update the plan of care as necessary to reflect changes in patient status.
• Devise a detailed schedule for treatment regarding frequency and duration, coordinating this with the patient and clinical support staff.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about pathology or condition, treatment alternatives, prognosis, and the rationale for treatment including rest, exercise, modalities, and other necessary interventions.

• PT Experience - required
• Outpatient Experience - required

• LARA and/or Nursys must state Active Michigan PT License - required
• Active American Heart Association BLS - required
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms Completed within the last two years - required
