Salary: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour. Night Shift Premium (16%) available Monday‑Thursday 5:00 pm‑5:30 am. Day Shift Monday‑Friday 6:00 am‑4:30 pm.

As a Sandblaster for Merrill: A Keel Company, you prepare various surfaces for paint by using sandblasting techniques to remove rust and mill scale from metal alloys. On‑the‑job training is provided as needed.

• Operate industrial sandblasting equipment.
• Demonstrate physical dexterity and hand‑eye coordination for tasks.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and communicate information to the next shift.
• Clean and maintain the work area to provide a safe and organized environment.
• Clean and maintain tools and sandblasting equipment.

Frequent standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without mechanical assistance.

Industrial paint facility within a welding/fabrication shop floor. Exposure to fumes from welding and paints, thinners, and cleaners; requires appropriate masks, eye protection, ear protection, and an air‑supplied hood. Exposure to debris, moving equipment, and high temperatures is frequent.
