Position: Technical (Service) Support Engineer XRF

Role Overview

A high‑tech customer support role focused on implementing digital services for end customers and providing technical support to a global customer support organization. The position includes training, service documentation, and 3rd‑line technical support, as well as leadership in development projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead customer support activities in development projects to secure deliverables with regard to serviceability and reliability.
  • Improve reliability through test and diagnostics software, service tooling, and spare‑part definition.
  • Create and maintain service documentation, supporting customer‑service processes.
  • Drive Lean / Six Sigma initiatives within the customer‑support process.
  • Initiate and implement product and process improvements and ensure deployment across the organization.
  • Provide 3rd‑line support to local Field Service Engineers to resolve customer issues.
  • Develop, execute and continuously improve training courses for Field Service Engineers and customers.
Qualifications
  • Affinity with IoT‑related products and deeper knowledge of network design.
  • Affinity with hardware, software and computer technology.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable solutions.
  • Experience developing and implementing new services.
  • Skill in translating platform requirements from users into product requirements for development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Working experience on a comparable level in projects within a high‑tech environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
Preferred Certifications
  • Greenbelt or Black Belt Certified Line
