Protocol Education is recruiting Autism Support Assistants for SEND schools across Northumberland.
Location: Alnwick, Blyth & Ashington
Contract: Full-Time
You will provide tailored support to pupils with Autism, helping them access learning, develop social skills and achieve positive educational outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Delivering structured interventions
- Promoting communication and interaction
- Supporting sensory regulation
- Encouraging independence
- Working alongside teaching and therapy teams
- Experience with in education, care or support work
- Understanding of Autism desirable
- Patient and empathetic attitude
- Strong relationship-building skills
- SEND Teaching Assistants
- Support Workers
- Care Assistants
- Psychology Graduates

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
