Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a varied shift assignment, requiring 2+ years of MRI experience and Siemens equipment proficiency.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital setting performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures
- Afternoon and day shifts with an 8-hour workday
- Varied schedule including one weekend per month
- No on-call requirements
- Utilizes Siemens MRI equipment
- Daily responsibilities include preparing scan rooms, patient screening, positioning patients, administering IV or oral contrast materials, operating MRI equipment, and ensuring image quality
- Accurate recordkeeping and preparing information for radiologist review is expected
- Matching scrubs of any color are required for this position
- Requests for time off must be made prior to offer, and a maximum of 5 days of RTO is allowed
- Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
- Only one travel assignment is permitted for local travelers
- Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience required
- Associate degree in a related field required
- Active ARRT or AMRIT MRI certification required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Experience operating Siemens MRI scanners is mandatory
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility address
- Work history, a recent MRI-specific skills checklist, and two supervisory reference forms from the last two years are required for consideration
- License required if applicable
