11 has an immediate opening for an MCO-operations Supervisor. We’re looking for someone with strong experience in production and managing people. This person will need to lead, innovate, execute strategy, and maintain a positive work culture where all members continue to grow. You’ll join a top-notch team dedicated to the success of WBKB-TV’s programming, which includes CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX affiliations.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a team of directors, operations technicians, and master control operators.
• Provide regular feedback to all direct reports, fostering a culture of growth and development.
• Lead hiring efforts for open operations positions.
• Innovate and push the boundaries on presentation and showcasing to increase viewer engagement.
• Handle administrative duties for the operations department including scheduling.
• On-air directing, switching, routing, timing calculation, program recording, and preparation.
• Run studio camera, floor direct, edit video.
• Monitor network transmissions for quality control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues prior to air.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience with production roles including on-air switching, routing, timing calculation, program recording, automation, directing, camera operation, and video editing.
• Experience in managing teams of people.
• Ability to motivate and encourage people and their growth.
• Positive attitude.
• Experience with Ross automation, Chyron, iNews, and Avid is a plus.
