Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU role requiring active MI licensure and strong pre/post-op and recovery experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital PACU setting
- Care for patients in both the pre-operative and post-anesthesia phases
- Utilizes Epic EMR system (experience preferred)
- Floating between pre- and post-op responsibilities as needed
- Responsibilities include pre-op patient preparation and post-anesthesia care and monitoring
- Scheduling requests must be submitted with application and cannot be modified after offer
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
- Local travelers may only complete one travel assignment
- Active Michigan RN license required at the time of application
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Pre- and post-operative nursing experience required
- Prior PACU experience required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Submission must include recent PACU skills checklist and two supervisory references within the last two years
- Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility location
