Cath Lab RN – Job Summary Provides care before, during, and after angiography and interventional cardiac cath procedures Supports Structural Heart, IR, Neuro (diagnostic/planned interventions), Vascular, and EP pacemaker/device patients Performs pre-procedure assessments, pre-medication, documentation, post-procedure recovery, and patient education Key Responsibilities 35%:
Direct nursing care for Cath Lab, Structural Heart, IR, Neuro, Vascular, and EP patients 35%:
Hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac output calculations, procedural setup, and operation of lifesaving devices (IABP, Impella); assist with transfers, supply stocking, and scrubbing cases 15%:
Accurate documentation of all procedural data 15%:
Assist Radiologic Technologists by circulating cases and maintaining sterile field/supply setup
