Our distinguished client (Local CPA Firm) presents an excellent opportunity for a strong tax senior or qualified tax associate candidate with 3 years or more of tax prep and review experience in the Alpharetta / North Georgia, or Atlanta GA area.

What you’ll do:- Tax prep and advisory services to multiple businesses, high net worth clients, and complex entities including trusts, estates, and partnerships.
- Oversee multiple tax engagements and work with the office in a team environment.
- Complete all work and engagements according to the specified deadlines and in regulations with senior tax management and staff.
- Complete research, prep and review work for C‑C corporations, S‑C corporations, HNW, partnerships, trusts, and other entities.
- Mentor junior staff for training and development on tax assignments.
- Create and foster client relationships for the firm.
- Bachelor’s in accounting or equivalent (economics, business administration, finance, accounting, stats).
- Additional CPA needed credit hours (additional education) or on track and/or desire to work towards the CPA in the future (in progress, but not required).
- 2‑3 years of tax experience working with Quick Books and or financial entries in other tax software.
- Experience in tax prep work across multiple industries (i.e. construction, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services).
- Experience with various popular software programs if possible including CCH, Pro System, Ultra Tax (or other comparable accounting software is ideal).
- Great communicator with a teamwork oriented mindset and personal skills to lead teams as well as coach other staff members.
