• Performs diversified accounting, auditing, and tax assignments under the direction of the manager and partner.
• Demonstrates competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards.
• Meets time constraints and client deadlines.
• Participates in planning and scheduling client engagements.
• Directs and instructs assistants, where applicable, in work to be performed and working paper review.
• Prepares and indexes working papers; performs procedures established under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to verify the accuracy and validity of client’s financial matters.
• Performs the broadest range of accountant tasks so that direct participation of supervisors, managers or principals is kept to a minimum.
• Prepares other reports, projects, and duties as may be assigned.
• Possesses technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff accountants.
• Begins acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty.
• Prepare payroll tax, sales and other local tax, and corporate/personal income tax returns.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. CPA or EA is also required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate and interface well with clients and internal customers and represent the firm in a highly professional manner.
• Proficiency with Quick Books and MS Office products. Prior experience with SharePoint, Accounting CS and Ultra Tax software is desirable but not required.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and handle sensitive material concerning the organization and its clients.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills.

• This position reports to the Client Accounting Services Manager
