Accounting Specialist Team Lead

Krause Auto Group islooking for an Accounting Specialist Team Lead to guide our dealership’s accounting specialists and ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial operations. This role blends handson accounting expertise with leadership responsibilities, supporting the daily flow of dealership transactions and partnering with department managers across the store.

• Day-to-day work will include leading and mentoring a team of accounting specialists in all areas including journal entries, account reconciliations and month-end close procedures
• Assign daily tasks and set expectations to ensure consistent work flow and accurate financial reporting
• Serve as the point of contact for escalated questions between the specialists and office manager
• Ensure schedules are clean and assist in maintaining organizational excellence within the department
• Communicate with other department managers to establish a cohesive work flow
• Promote consistency, accuracy, and accountability across the accounting office

• 1+ year of professional experience or internship (required)
• CDK experience or a DMS equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Positive attitude and eagerness to improve
• Driven personality and able to be successful in an individual and team setting
• Ability to meet deadlines, attention to detail, and communicate effectively with others
