Senior AP Specialist / AP Lead

6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Senior AP Specialist / AP Lead in Alpharetta, GA. Our client is a fast-growing subcontractor that's bringing its accounts payable function back in-house, and they want someone to help build it the right way. The role is remote for now, but they may open an Atlanta office, so you need to be local. You'll own a high-volume AP workflow, around 1,500 invoices a month across active construction projects, using Ramp and Net Suite.

Responsibilities:

• Code bills and credit card transactions in Ramp to the correct GL account, project, and cost category, and sync them to Net Suite
• Create purchase orders from Project Manager requests and handle project transfers and reclasses to keep job cost accurate
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and act as the go-to contact for vendor and internal AP questions
• Support month-end close and 1099 filing, and help shape AP processes as the function moves in-house

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
• Hands-on experience with Ramp and Net Suite (required)
• Construction, low voltage, or other project-based industry experience is a strong plus
• Solid grasp of job cost coding, purchase orders, and project accounting, plus the ability to work independently
