Base pay range
$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr
SummaryThis position is responsible for processing new unit/transfer in title and registration paperwork and for processing annual renewals on the existing fleet across multiple states and branches in the U.S. Depending on state coverage, the role may also require additional processing for sales tax and/or personal property tax payments.
Essential Functions- Create state paperwork needed to procure title and registration on new or transfer‑in units.
- Coordinate any other needed documents with the domicile shop such as weight slips, vehicle identification number (VIN) verifications, etc.
- Ensure accuracy of paperwork submitted for titles and registrations to state and/or federal agencies, especially when procuring license and title.
- Provide accurate VIN#s, make, model, and year for legalization of the vehicle.
- Open, sort, and prep renewal documents upon receipt of renewal notices from state; submit for review.
- Process annual renewals for existing equipment.
- Maintain 100% compliance of timely renewals, incurring zero penalties and only renewing active vehicles.
- Receive renewal documents delivered to shops allowing two full weekends to install prior to expiration.
- Provide support to internal and external customers to answer questions regarding the status of license and permits for their respective state(s).
- Input payment information into the system complete with receipts and unit breakdown for fees remitted.
- Ability to quickly respond to changing assignments, work settings and priorities.
- Ability to quickly respond to changing assignments, work settings and priorities while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
- Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams (Excel knowledge to include VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, working with large amounts of data) – intermediate required.
- Workday – intermediate preferred.
$18.00/hr – $20.00/hr.
