A well-established Commercial Construction General Contractor is seeking an experienced Safety Director to lead and elevate its company-wide safety program. This confidential search seeks a key leadership role within a growing organization known for quality projects, long‑term client relationships, and a proactive safety culture.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve company‑wide safety programs and procedures.
• Lead safety initiatives across multiple active commercial construction sites.
• Conduct jobsite audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Provide safety training, coaching, and mentorship to project and field teams.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable local/state regulations – investigate incidents and near‑misses; implement corrective actions.
• Track and analyze safety metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary safety leader and advocate throughout the organization.

• 7+ years of construction safety leadership experience with a Commercial General Contractor.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety best practices.
• Experience managing safety programs for ground‑up commercial projects.
• Proven ability to influence safety culture at all organizational levels.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500+510 greatly desired, CSP, CHST, or similar certifications preferred.

• Executive‑level support and authority to drive safety initiatives.
