Overview

Project Manager role at Rogers Electric. Rogers is a large self-performing electrical, data and lighting contractor with 40 years of experience, 1500+ employees, 12 offices nationwide, licenses in 48 states, and over 2000 facilities constructed.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Plans, organizes, and staffs key field positions for assigned projects
  • Establishes objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards to complete project scope of work per contract documents
  • Analyzes bid documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) and existing site conditions to outline scope of work, including all general conditions and requirements
  • Identifies risks in scope of work to ensure related costs are covered
  • Manages all pre-construction requirements of projects to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Understands RFI, change order, and progress billing processes
  • Clearly defines and manages labor hours, material procurement, equipment needs, and customer reporting requirements
  • Deploys electricians with the correct materials and equipment to complete project scope of work and provides ongoing direction
  • Conducts field visits to projects as needed (pre-bid surveys, kick-off meetings, progress walks, punch walks, turnover)
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of field experience as a commercial Electrician
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing electrical scopes of work
  • Knowledge of Bid board, Accubid, Procore, or similar software is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency
  • Ability to comprehend, summarize, edit, and analyze data
  • Ability to create, navigate, search and update company systems (emails, work orders, reports, bids, invoices, etc.)
  • Proficient with creating, editing, and analyzing Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations
