Director of Operations; RWS

Reinforced Wall Systems (RWS), a subsidiary of Plateau Excavation, specializes in concrete walls, block walls, MSE walls, and arched culverts. We help developers maximize land use while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and reliable execution.

We are currently seeking a Director of Operations to join our team. Lead field operations for RWS, a subsidiary of Plateau Excavation specializing in concrete walls, block walls, MSE walls, and arched culverts. Oversee multiple crews and a field organization of approximately 85–100 personnel while building the systems and leadership needed to support growth.

• Direct field operations across projects, aligning safety, quality, staffing, equipment, and production.
• Lead superintendents and field leaders and establish clear expectations and accountability.
• Coordinate manpower and equipment assignments and resolve resource conflicts.
• Review project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and production results with project teams.
• Partner with estimating and project management on constructability, staffing, and execution plans.
• Develop field talent, strengthen operating processes, and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Substantial construction operations leadership experience across multiple crews and projects.
• Experience in retaining walls, structural concrete, MSE systems, or closely related construction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead field organizations and improve production, quality, and financial performance.
• Strong planning, personnel management, and communication skills; construction-related degree preferred or equivalent experience.
