PCPs are expected to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long‑term relationships, provide individualized health‑management programs and continuous support.

• No obstetrics
• Clinic hours Monday‑Friday 8‑5
• After‑hours call service
• 18‑22 patients/day (based on complexity)
• On‑site laboratory services
• State‑of‑the‑art technology with integrated EMR and electronic prescribing
• No admitting; no nights
• Compliance with Georgia Composite Board regulations (Georgia Medical Practice Act)
• Patient education in health management & disease prevention
• Support evidence‑based practice guidelines implementation
• Provide patient education and appropriate outpatient care
• Supervise physician assistants / nurse practitioners
• Participate in peer review, performance improvement, continuing education, risk management, clinical indicator selection
• Assist in evaluating phone calls & determining disposition when appropriate
• Use Allscripts/Veradigm EMR to document in the health record
• Promote continuity by collaborating with team members

• MD or DO, current Georgia license in good standing
• Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
• Completion of residency in family practice/internal medicine
• Valid DEA
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent written & spoken communication skills
• Caring, attentive nature
• Working understanding of managed care environment
• Effective communication with all employee levels and health plans

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency
