Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base with uncapped monthly bonus. $30K retention bonus. Malpractice coverage. 4 weeks PTO; 1 week for CME plus stipend; 6 paid holidays on top of PTO. Work FocusPCPs are expected to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long‑term relationships, provide individualized health‑management programs and continuous support.
- No obstetrics
- Clinic hours Monday‑Friday 8‑5
- After‑hours call service
- 18‑22 patients/day (based on complexity)
- On‑site laboratory services
- State‑of‑the‑art technology with integrated EMR and electronic prescribing
- No admitting; no nights
- Compliance with Georgia Composite Board regulations (Georgia Medical Practice Act)
- Patient education in health management & disease prevention
- Support evidence‑based practice guidelines implementation
- Provide patient education and appropriate outpatient care
- Supervise physician assistants / nurse practitioners
- Participate in peer review, performance improvement, continuing education, risk management, clinical indicator selection
- Assist in evaluating phone calls & determining disposition when appropriate
- Use Allscripts/Veradigm EMR to document in the health record
- Promote continuity by collaborating with team members
- MD or DO, current Georgia license in good standing
- Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Completion of residency in family practice/internal medicine
- Valid DEA
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written & spoken communication skills
- Caring, attentive nature
- Working understanding of managed care environment
- Effective communication with all employee levels and health plans
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Punch/pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs of force
- Sit for extended periods
- Stand for extended periods
- Operate office equipment, fine motor skills
- Receive and comprehend instructions verbally or in writing
- Use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
- Travel to multiple locations as required
