Huntington Learning Centers in Cumming, GA and Alpharetta, GA are hiring part-time ACT/SAT tutors to join their team. This position is for local candidates only. 4-year degree (in any subject) required; teaching certification a plus. Training provided. Flexible daytime, evening, and weekend hours available. We have multiple openings! We offer opportunities for students from PreK-12 as well. At Huntington we offer students tutoring in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Study Skills, Phonics, Vocabulary, Science, Test Prep, High School Entrance Exam preparation, and SAT/PSAT, ACT, and ASVAB preparation. To ensure a successful educational experience, teachers are required to go through paid intensive initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our curriculum. • Provide tutoring for ACT, SAT, and related test preparation.
• Support students across reading, writing, mathematics, study skills, phonics, vocabulary, science, and other related areas.
• Participate in paid intensive initial training and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and curriculum.
• Work in a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, and weekend hours; after-school and weekend opportunities.
• Enjoy a teaching role with no required lesson planning or homework grading.

• Bachelor’s degree (Required).
• Experience:
  
  Tutoring – 1 year (Preferred).
