Job Summary

Join our team as a Quality Engineer focused on improving product design and process efficiency. You'll support the implementation of new components and technologies, interpret customer specifications and drawings, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on product quality through data‑driven problem solving and cross‑functional collaboration.

What You Will Do
  • Conduct measurement systems analysis and gather, analyze, and communicate non‑conformance data.
  • Maintain quality system documentation and analyze trends in non‑conformance data to support continuous improvement.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing technical input and managing corrective action responses.
  • Drive resolution of technical and process‑related issues through ticket management and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), analyze post‑BOM parts, and develop process maps to support manufacturing and quality processes.
Degree Requirement
  • Four‑year degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
What You Will Have
  • Quality Management:
    Working knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.
    • Utilizes quality indicators relevant to own unit or function.
    • Adheres to organizational quality management processes and practices.
    • Applies key aspects of continuous improvement processes and evaluates impact on quality.
    • Uses quality evaluation tools and techniques such as walkthroughs and inspections.
    • Works with quality assurance methods, tools and techniques.
    • Manage ISO 9001 Engineering documents including improving documentation tools and process improvements.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
    Working knowledge & the ability to use a structured approach to identify the causes of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent recurrences.
    • Utilizes RCA techniques, such as Flowchart, Fish‑bone Diagram, etc., to investigate basic problems, determine the causes, and find resolutions.
    • Locates factors that resulted in harmful outcomes of one or more past events.
    • Pinpoints behaviors, actions, inaction, or conditions that need to be changed.
    • Extrapolates lessons to be learned to promote the achievement of better consequences.
    • Practices RCA as an iterative process.
