Our client, a recognised leader in product safety and certification, is seeking an experienced Electrical Safety Test Engineer to support product evaluations, project management, and client communication. • Define project scope, develop investigation plans, and establish specifications based on client input and product design.
• Conduct and oversee product assessments and component evaluations at client sites, ensuring compliance with applicable standards (e.g., EN/IEC/UL 62368, 61010, 60335).
• Review technical files, document findings, and prepare timely client reports.
• Assess product design, engineering, and manufacturing processes, identifying any deficiencies.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate technical issues and project updates clearly and professionally.
• Lead client meetings related to testing progress and project milestones.
• Contribute to the development of new testing techniques and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on electrical safety testing experience in a laboratory setting.
• Strong understanding of national and international electrical product safety standards, preferably including EV charging equipment, batteries, and energy storage systems.
• Familiarity with test equipment and standards committees.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
