Senior Software Engineer

Saleo is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Sr. SE) to join our growing team. This role is perfect for those with a proven track record of supporting and expanding web based applications using Java script.

The Sr. SE is responsible for supporting multiple accounts from a technical perspective. This means that you will be using your technical skills to onboard and support Saleo’s customers. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with customer success managers to ensure speedy onboarding and the customer’s successful use of the software throughout the life of the contract while maintaining a positive customer experience at all times.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with and mentor a number of extremely talented entry level engineers.

Candidates for this role should bring 5 or more years of deep Java script experience, a passion for learning, and a can-do spirit. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying within the timeframe is critical. Saleo is a young company, and processes are still being defined and refined, so the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment is also important.

While this role has little-to-no customer-facing responsibility, you will regularly work with the internal Saleo team so excellent communication skills are necessary.

• Support the Saleo integration across multiple customers who various customer success and account executives manage.
• Work with Saleo’s Customer Success & onboarding teams to architect and implement complex technical solutions using Java script.
• Scope and design customer onboarding and expansion plans.
• Continually offer your technical expertise and guidance to other members of the team.
• Provide product and market feedback to the product team to help guide the product roadmap.

• Previous experience in solutions engineering, engineering, or similar roles.
• Experience with Typescript is preferred.

• 5+ years experience using Java script in advanced use cases.
• Excellent debugging skills on both the frontend and backend of web applications.
• Experience solving complex problems using technology and teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Willingness and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Willingness to work in an environment with a high degree of context switching.
• Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member.
• Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn.
