Focus Forward Counseling is a growth-oriented, child-centered practice with a collegial and supportive culture that values collaboration and professional autonomy. We’re seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Alpharetta, GA and help children, teens, and families thrive.
Location: Alpharetta, GA (In-person required)
Compensation: $65,000–$95,000 per year (combined salary + incentives) + $5,000 sign‑on bonus
Employment Type: W-2 Employee, Full-Time
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments of bio‑psycho‑social needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence‑based individual, family, and group counseling.
- Maintain communication regarding treatment progress with referral sources and provide aftercare plans and follow‑up care.
- Ensure proper care of clients as mandated by ethical guidelines and coordinate with other treating professionals.
- Ensure proper and timely documentation of services provided.
- Work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Master's or Doctoral Degree in a counseling-related field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
- Licensed in Georgia as LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, etc. and in good standing with the Licensing Board.
- Ability to work a minimum of 27 clinical hours (Full‑time).
- Ability to work at our Alpharetta office.
