Responsibilities- Administer and interpret a wide range of psychological and neuropsychological tests to assess clients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to diagnose psychological conditions and guide treatment planning.
- Choose appropriate assessments and testing tools based on clients' specific needs and referral questions.
- Ensure the reliability and validity of testing instruments and procedures.
- Prepare detailed and accurate psychological assessment reports summarizing test results, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.
- Communicate findings to clients, families, and relevant healthcare providers in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaborate with therapists, clinicians, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Offer guidance and recommendations to support clients' mental health and well-being.
- Stay current with psychological assessment research and best practices in the field.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of assessment protocols and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.
D.) in clinical psychology or a related field. - Current state licensure as a psychologist.
- Licensure as a Psychologist in the state of practice.
- Certification in specific psychological assessments, if required by state regulations.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed psychologist, with a focus on psychological assessment and testing.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment instruments, interpretation of results, and ethical guidelines.
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
- May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
- Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
- Good communication skills and emotional resilience to provide support to patients facing mental health challenges.
