Talent Manager, HR Manager, Employee Relations
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership
Design and execute an HR strategy aligned with rapid growth and long-term business goals.
Advise executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure alignment on all people initiatives.
Oversee benefits administration, including experience managing self-funded plans and understanding TPA models at scale.
Lead payroll operations to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely execution across multiple states or countries.
Maintain up-to-date compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ACA, ERISA, OSHA).
Develop and manage compensation structures, including establishing compensation bands, title alignment, and supporting workforce development initiatives.
Manage relationships with external partners such as brokers, payroll providers, and compliance platforms.
Drive high-impact talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention programs.
Develop and implement robust performance management systems to support a high-performance culture.
Launch learning and development initiatives to support both individual and organizational growth.
Build and scale HR infrastructure, policies, and systems to support a distributed, fast-growing workforce.
Lead change management efforts during expansion, M&A, or organizational restructuring.
Implement and optimize HR systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS) for scalability and data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with the last 5 years at the executive or VP level.
Proven success scaling HR operations in hypergrowth environments, ideally from 200 to 500+ employees.
Deep expertise in benefits (specifically self-funded plans and TPA models), payroll, and compliance across multi-state or global operations.
Strong understanding of compensation design, including compensation bands, title architecture, and workforce planning.
Industry experience in the SaaS industry is required.
Strong command of employment law and HR compliance.
Exceptional leadership, influence, and communication skills across all levels.
Experience implementing and optimizing HR technology systems.
SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification.
Experience managing remote or hybrid work forces.
Exposure to M&A or IPO readiness.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
