Office Environment

In-Office

• Maintain and upload payroll information in the 3rd party payroll software
• Update payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and savings deductions
• Prepare reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non‑taxable wages
• Calculate payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes, including federal and state income and social security tax, and calculating employer’s payments for social security, unemployment and worker’s compensation
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer any employee payroll queries
• Maintain all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
• Process and issue W-2 forms to employees
• Process and submit retirement contributions in a timely manner

• Multi‑State Payroll Processing Experience
• Knowledge of wage withholding orders
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns
• 3+ Years Experience
