Sr. Claims Advocate
Join the Marsh McLennan Agency team as a Sr. Claims Advocate. Applicants must be within driving distance to a MMA SE Office and able to commute to the office three days per week.
Responsibilities- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires and ongoing training for current employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and vendors to manage benefits enrollment, claims, and issue resolution.
- Analyze and evaluate benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in the development and implementation of benefits policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee benefits.
- Prepare and distribute benefits communication materials to employees.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in legislation affecting employee benefits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in benefits administration or a related role, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, insurance products, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and benefits administration software.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Must have or obtain Life and Health license within 90 days of employment.
