Human Resources Coordinator – Evans General Contractors

The HR Coordinator provides essential support to the Human Resources Department by assisting with the administration of employee benefit plans, managing leave requests, and maintaining accurate employee records. Additionally, this position contributes to company-wide initiatives such as training programs, mentorship activities, and the effective communication of the benefits offered by Evans General Contractors, LLC. This is an in-office position located in Alpharetta, GA
.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, and process required changes and notifications through payroll and insurance providers.
  • Promote utilization of company benefits such as Health Joy, Valenz Health, among others.
  • Develop, together with the HR Generalist and the VP of Human Resources, a benefits communication program for employees.
  • Assist the HR Generalist with the review and processing of leave requests under the FMLA and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated as needed.
  • Assist with processing of terminations.
  • Assist with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Support company-wide training and mentorship initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Complete special projects as required.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of related experience.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Detail oriented.
