Job Summary:

eTeam is focused on promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization, and they are seeking a Data Analyst/Tableau Developer/Data Champion to lead these efforts. The role involves collecting, cleaning, analyzing data, and fostering a data-literate culture while ensuring data governance practices are upheld.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources.

• Work within existing data structures

• Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support decision-making.

• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data sets.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and support hypothesis testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and develop analytical solutions.

• Promote data governance and data quality initiatives within the organization.

• Educate and train colleagues on data literacy and best practices.

• Advocate for the use of data to drive business decisions.

• Work with IT and business users to understand data requirements and develop solutions.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

• Foster a data-aware culture within the organization.

• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata.

• Support the development and implementation of data processes and procedures.

• Contribute to the development of strategic data plans and initiatives.

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data governance.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques.

• Extensive knowledge in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Experience with SQL or other database technologies.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Experience with data governance, data quality, or data privacy.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Preferred:

• Service Now Reporting/Dashboard Creation is a bonus
