You Are:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with 8 to 10 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and big data technologies, enabling them to deliver actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The opportunity:
  • Data Analysis & Manipulation
    • Utilize Python and R for advanced data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
    • Apply libraries such as Pandas, Num Py, and Scikit-Learn to perform comprehensive data exploration, cleaning, and transformation.
    • Develop and implement robust data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics
    • Design, build, and deploy machine learning models using frameworks like Tensor Flow and PyTorch.
    • Execute a range of modeling tasks, including regression, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems.
    • Interpret model results to generate actionable business insights and support strategic initiatives.
  • Big Data Technologies
    • Manage and process large-scale datasets using tools such as Apache Spark.
    • Employ distributed computing and parallel processing techniques to optimize data workflows.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate big data solutions into enterprise platforms.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders from various departments to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
    • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices within the data science team.
What you need:
  • Hands‑on experience with data analysis tools – proficient in Python and R for data manipulation, querying, and analysis.
  • Skilled in utilizing libraries like Pandas, Num Py, and Scikit‑Learn to perform in-depth data analysis and modeling.
  • Expertise in machine learning and predictive analytics – building, training, and deploying models using frameworks such as Tensor Flow and PyTorch.
  • Experience with regression, classification, clustering, and recommendation models, enabling data‑driven predictions and insights.
  • Expertise in big data technologies – proficient in handling large datasets using tools such as Spark.
  • Skilled in distributed computing and parallel processing techniques to ensure efficient data processing, storage, and analysis at the enterprise level.

Compensation

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Benefits
  • Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
