Senior Scrum Master

As a Senior Scrum Master at Client, you will work directly with client delivery teams, product owners, and business agility coaches to lead the successful deployment of Agile practices. You'll serve as a change agent and trusted advisor, promoting Agile values and principles while guiding teams toward delivering high-value outcomes. This role includes coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and managing Agile ceremonies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Assess and understand the current Agile maturity of teams; help plan and implement Agile adoption strategies.
• Collaborate with client leadership to manage expectations and promote Agile success.
• Identify opportunities to expand account potential with Client account leadership.
• Promote Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe across client organizations.
• Drive the usage of Agile metrics and maturity models to assess progress.
• Act as a business-minded advisor to clients, learning their environment and delivering contextual value.
• Lead Agile planning and roadmap activities aligned with client deliverables and dependencies.
• Train team members and stakeholders in Agile frameworks and value-driven delivery.
• Actively support a team environment through conflict resolution, facilitation, and coaching.
• Manage Agile-related documentation, metrics dashboards, burn-up/down charts, and backlog refinement.
• Support junior team members as a career coach and mentor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, UX, Technical Architecture) to align delivery.
• Represent Client’s brand with professionalism and business acumen.

• 10+ years in Agile software development as a Project or Delivery Manager.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Facilitator.
• 5+ years configuring/managing Agile lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira, ADO, Rally, Planview).
• In-depth understanding of Agile principles, Lean values, and iterative delivery.

• Agile certifications such as SASM (SAFe Advanced Scrum Master), ICP-ATF, PSM, CSM.
• Strong facilitation skills for meetings, workshops, and conflict resolution.
• Capable of leading training sessions on Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge in neighboring domains such as UX, Product Management, and Development Best Practices.
