SQL developer

We are looking for a SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain database solutions that support our business applications and analytics needs. The ideal candidate will be skilled in writing optimized SQL queries, managing large datasets, and ensuring database performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Write efficient, optimized, and scalable SQL queries to support business intelligence, reporting, and application development.
• Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure high performance and availability.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to design database solutions that meet project requirements.
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Manage database backups, recovery, and security protocols.
• Support data migration, transformation, and validation activities.
• Document database structures, standards, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer or Database Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Experience in query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning.
• Familiarity with ETL tools (SSIS, Talend, or Informatica).
• Experience with data modeling and normalization techniques.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Google Cloud SQL.

• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation.
