Overview
Job Title: Lead DBA - Postgres
Location: Alpharetta, GA (100% Onsite - 5 days a week from day
1)
Duration: Long Term
Job Type: W2
Responsibilities- 10+ years' experience on Postgres Development and Administration.
- Expert in writing Joins with multiple tables, Indexing, Query tuning & Rewrite Query/Joins.
- Expertise in Postgre
SQL modeling and implementing complex workflows. - Creating and Scheduling Jobs.
- Expert at RDBMS database administration, troubleshooting, security, and performance.
- Strong communication with technical peers and executives in the US and India. Perform Incident and Problem management duties.
- Experience in applying necessary patches and CUs, hotfixes, and security updates.
- Preparing DR strategies and implementing DR practice tests for mission-critical databases to build DR availability confidence.
- Expert in High-availability concepts like clustering, database mirroring, log shipping, replication, and Always On High Availability.
- Extensive experience with Postgre
SQL development and administration. - Strong SQL tuning, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with DR planning, high availability, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
