Dev Ops Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Manager to lead and scale our Dev Ops practice, ensuring reliable CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure stability, security, and high system availability. This role bridges development, QA, operations, and security teams to enable faster and safer software delivery.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Dev Ops team
• Define Dev Ops vision, roadmap, and best practices
• Drive automation, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Product, and Security teams

CI/CD & Release Management

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
• Ensure smooth build, test, and deployment workflows
• Implement release strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling deployments)

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Cloud Formation
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery

Containerization & Orchestration

• Oversee containerized environments using Docker
• Manage Kubernetes clusters using Kubernetes
• Ensure secure and optimized container deployments

Monitoring, Observability & Reliability

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Track system health, SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets
• Lead incident management and root cause analysis (RCA)

Security & Compliance

• Enforce Dev Sec Ops  practices
• Ensure secrets management, access control, and compliance standards
• Perform regular audits and vulnerability management

Required Skills Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Dev Ops, Cloud, and Infrastructure Engineering
• CI/CD pipeline design and automation
• Cloud networking, security, and cost optimization
• Linux system administration
• Scripting (Bash, Python)

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Team leadership and mentoring
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
• SRE background
• Cloud or Kubernetes certifications
• Experience managing large-scale production systems

Experience & Education

• 812 years of IT experience
• 35 years in a Dev Ops Lead or Manager role
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
