Reports To:
Director, Enterprise Architecture
We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect who combines emotional maturity, empathy, and systems thinking with deep technical and architectural expertise. The ideal candidate is process-driven yet innovative, confident yet humble, and thrives in designing AI-first, integrated, and scalable Salesforce ecosystems. You will play a critical leadership role in shaping our Salesforce platform strategy – ensuring it is intelligent, secure, and seamlessly integrated across business units and partner technologies.
This role requires someone who can still code, prototype, and experiment hands‑on, while also governing architectural standards and mentoring teams across multiple clouds and systems.
- Capable of designing and governing enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions spanning multiple clouds and orgs, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and platform consistency. AI‑First Solution
- Capable of designing and implementing AI‑first experiences using Salesforce’s AI ecosystem (Einstein 1, Prompt Builder, CoPilot, Work Summaries, Agent Force).
- Leverages generative AI responsibly to enhance customer and agent journeys. Service Cloud Expertise:
- Deeply proficient in Service Cloud console, Omni‑Channel routing, and CTI integrations, with hands‑on experience in partner telephony systems such as Genesys Cloud.
- Capable of architecting Salesforce Genesys Cloud integrations leveraging Open CTI, APIs, and event‑driven designs for real‑time communication and routing.
- Integration
- Capable of designing and governing robust integration patterns with Mule Soft and other enterprise systems, ensuring low latency, observability, and fault tolerance.
- Owns the end‑to‑end platform security model, including Shield encryption, event monitoring, and advanced sharing strategies.
- Leads the Architecture/Design Review Board (DRB) to govern design standards, manage technical debt, and enforce consistency.
- Capable of reviewing and optimizing Apex frameworks, scalable triggers, asynchronous processing, and governor limit management.
- Provides strategic guidance on LWC architecture, caching strategies, and performance optimization.
- Dev Ops and CI/CD:
- Capable of defining and enforcing Dev Ops pipelines (Copado, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, etc.) to ensure automated, secure, and consistent deployments across orgs.
- Championed a generative culture of information‑sharing and collaboration between Development and Operations teams, streamlining the end‑to‑end delivery pipeline.
- Capable of building proofs of concept (POCs) and rapid prototypes to validate ideas, test AI driven features, or demonstrate architectural approaches.
- Mentorship & Leadership:
- Mentors senior developers and tech leads, fosters architectural thinking across teams, and serves as the final technical escalation point for platform issues.
- Primary Cloud:
Salesforce Service Cloud (including Omni‑Channel, Voice, and CTI Integrations). - Secondary Cloud:
Experience Cloud and exposure to multi‑org, multi‑cloud & multi‑org landscapes. - Integration Platforms:
Strong hands‑on experience with Mule Soft and REST‑based API architectures. - Telephony Integrations:
Experience with Genesys Cloud or other CTI/voice platforms through Salesforce Open CTI, WebRTC, or Embedded Softphone implementations. - AI
Experience:
Familiarity with Einstein 1 Platform, Prompt Builder, CoPilot, and Agent Force for designing AI‑driven automation.
- Salesforce Agent Force Specialist Certification or strong LLM prompt engineering experience.
- Familiarity with Data Cloud, Event‑Driven Architectures, and API‑led connectivity.
- Strong grounding in Dev Ops, Copado or similar Dev Ops tool for CI/CD, test automation, and release governance.
- Emotionally mature and empathic leader‑ listens deeply, communicates with humility, and drives collaboration across business and IT.
- Systems thinker – sees the full architecture, not just the components.
- Confident yet humble – leads with influence, not authority.
- Process‑oriented – brings structure, discipline, and governance to technical design.
- Hands‑on technologist – can roll up sleeves to debug, prototype, or build when needed.
- Innovative and AI‑curious – constantly explores how AI and automation can elevate user experience and efficiency.
