We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments, and ensuring the integrity of our systems and data. You will play a critical role in protecting our organization from cyber threats and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches and anomalies.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and alerts.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure secure system configurations.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to security incidents and risk assessments.
- Assist in compliance efforts (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security principles.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
