AI​/ML Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled and driven AI/ML Engineer to join our team in building production-ready Generative AI applications and integrations that power firmwide innovation. This role is ideal for someone passionate about AI models and systems and eager to collaborate on scalable, impactful solutions.

• Build and maintain production-ready AI services and integrations.

• Develop AI systems, APIs and microservices for internal firmwide use.

• Collaborate with the AI Engineering leadership on frameworks and architecture.

• Stay current with emerging AI libraries, services and tools.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for innovation and continuous learning in AI technologies.

• Build and manage strong internal and external partnerships by fostering trust, empathy, and mutual value.

• Leverage emotional agility and hybrid collaboration to navigate diverse stakeholder needs and drive long-term engagement.

• Use critical thinking and creative reasoning to address complex problems and exceed expectations.

• Align cross-functional teams around shared goals, ensuring accountability and progress. Use emotional intelligence and hybrid collaboration to motivate others and deliver high-impact results.

• Study computer science, data science, systems engineering, machine learning or a comparable field of study.

• Excellent Python skills.

• A strong understanding of generative AI system architecture and evaluations / benchmarks.

• Experience with RAG systems and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS.

• Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like Lang Chain, Auto Gen, or Semantic Kernel.

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch.

• Experience deploying AI agents in production environments.

• Experience training custom ML models

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $76,200 to $125,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $91,400 to $142,600.
  
  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

• Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
