AT&T invites applications for the Principal Tech Vendor Management role in Alpharetta, Georgia. The position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the posted location(s). No relocation is offered.

What you’ll do- Vendor and Contract Management:
Gather technical requirements, identify and analyze sourcing vendors and options, provide financial analysis and recommendations, support contract negotiations and governance, oversee service level management, quality assurance, audit, compliance, and productivity management of vendor performance. - Financial Management:
Deep focus on financial management processes and business case management for large scale Managed Services Agreements with $100+M of annual fees across multiple organizations. - Strategic Roadmap Review:
Provide support in strategic roadmap review of internal technology aspects, vendor technology roadmaps, best practice review, future trend analysis, and formulate strategies to rationalize vendors and products to focus investment on strategic solutions. - Security Compliance:
Manage overall security compliance and procedures for physical, network and data security with vendors. - Vendor Financial Management:
Prepare and evaluate RFPs, business case management, research and analysis, contract financial analysis, benchmarking, compliance, service level financial penalties, authorization and monthly payment/accrual process, and ongoing cost‑vs‑benefit analysis of contracts. - Operational Management:
Manage vendor access, connectivity, onboarding, off‑boarding, service escalations, business continuity, disaster recovery, offshore eligibility, transition management analysis, executive coordination, data management, reporting and metrics.
- Strong technical background and knowledge of technology, processes, procedures and tools in IT, Network, or CTO domains.
- Business background in vendor management, contract management, governance, compliance, service level management, security, financial management, project management, asset management, and related disciplines.
- Expert level technical professional. Advisor on technical knowledge and AT&T technologies.
- Typically 8‑10 years experience. Extensive Vendor Financial Management experience with large scale Managed Services Agreements is required.
