Penetration Tester

The Penetration Tester is responsible for conducting offensive security assessments of client environments, applications, networks, and systems. This mid-level role requires a strong understanding of security principles, attack methodologies, and risk identification. The Penetration Tester works directly with clients to evaluate security controls, identify vulnerabilities, communicate risk, and provide actionable remediation recommendations.

• Conduct penetration tests and security assessments of networks, web applications, cloud environments, and infrastructure
• Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities and associated risks
• Prepare detailed technical reports and remediation recommendations
• Participate in client kick-off meetings and findings presentations
• Provide guidance on security architecture, design, and infrastructure risks
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
• Research emerging threats and testing methodologies
• Collaborate with team members to maintain quality and consistency

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Experience performing penetration testing or related security assessments
• Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and web application security
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, or similar

• Participation in cybersecurity communities or research
• Published technical content or research
• Conference speaking experience
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience
