In this role, you will drive the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platforms that power data and artificial intelligence (AI) innovation across Global Payments. Your leadership will help accelerate how teams deliver secure, resilient, and high-impact solutions, enabling faster business outcomes and exceptional client experiences.

Working at the intersection of cloud engineering, automation, and platform strategy, you will influence enterprise-wide technology decisions, foster engineering excellence, and create the foundation that supports Global Payments’ mission to deliver innovative payment solutions and power the future of commerce worldwide.

• Shape the cloud platform strategy by designing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure that enables data and AI initiatives to grow efficiently and deliver measurable business value.
• Accelerate software delivery outcomes through automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), improving deployment consistency, reducing operational risk, and increasing engineering productivity.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) excellence by building and optimizing enterprise-grade pipelines that reduce time-to-market and improve release reliability.
• Influence platform reliability and performance through proactive monitoring, testing, and operational improvements that maximize system availability, security, and user confidence.
• Champion Dev Ops best practices across teams by partnering with engineers, sharing expertise, and creating scalable solutions that strengthen collaboration, innovation, and long-term platform success.

• Proven success leading engineering initiatives, cloud transformations, or complex infrastructure projects with measurable business and technology outcomes.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a strong understanding of modern cloud architecture principles.
• Advanced experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code practices that improve scalability, consistency, and operational efficiency.
• Strong proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Git Hub, and Git Hub Actions, with demonstrated success building and managing modern cloud-native environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Dev Ops methodologies, and CI/CD automation, with the ability to influence engineering excellence across teams.

• Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or data analytics platforms and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Demonstrated success leading Dev Sec Ops , platform engineering, or technical modernization initiatives that improve security, governance, and developer experience.
• Ability to build alignment across cross‑functional teams, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
