Our client is a specialty brokerage and risk consulting firm built around construction and design professionals. The team’s edge is industry fluency: leaders with long-standing backgrounds in this space, plus deep experience advising how A&E firms deliver projects and manage risk.

Just as important, our client is known for data‑driven program design and alternative risk solutions, including group captives that have delivered meaningful savings and returns for their clients.

Our client is hiring a Senior Account Executive/Broker to help lead the placement and servicing of a growing book of A&E and design professional clients. You will be highly client‑facing, own negotiations with carriers, and quarterback strategy from pre‑renewal through binding and post‑bind execution.

• Lead renewal strategy and market/broker placements, including negotiations with underwriters and wholesaler partners (U.S. and London)
• Prepare and present renewal options, benchmarking, coverage analysis, and program recommendations
• Place and manage multi‑line programs, including group captive options when appropriate
• Serve as primary client advisor on coverage questions, endorsements, and ongoing service needs
• Provide contract risk review support (insurance‑focused through full contract review, depending on need)
• Oversee claims handling, audits, WC mod reviews, and support M&A‑related insurance work as needed
• Coordinate and mentor the account team supporting the client (Account Specialist/Manager, placement resources, policy/cert specialists, etc.)

• 6+ years in the insurance industry with current brokering/marketing experience (carrier negotiations are a major part of the role)
• Experience placing AEC accounts (architecture, engineering, construction) and strong coverage instincts for the A&E space
• Comfort operating in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail and E&O awareness
• Experience with an agency management system such as Sagitta a plus

• A true specialty platform focused on design and construction risk, with meaningful advisory work beyond “standard renewal servicing”
• Access to data + benchmarking and a reputation for helping firms reduce total cost of risk over time
• Hybrid schedule in Alpharetta, GA (3 days/week in office)
