Responsibilities- Review and assess incoming client notices to determine urgency and severity, then route to the appropriate claims team.
- Review and assess incoming internal stakeholder requests; determine urgency and severity; route to the appropriate claims team member.
- Respond to client and internal stakeholder inquiries regarding claim notices, processes, policies, and requirements, providing accurate and timely information.
- Provide prompt and professional client support via phone, email, or other communication channels.
- Assist clients with completion of claim forms, gather necessary supporting documents, and ensure proper documentation for claim processing.
- Assist clients with filing insurance claims, verify claim information, and ensure all necessary documentation is submitted accurately and promptly.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all claim‑related communications, documents, and activities within the designated claims recordkeeping system.
- Adhere to internal and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance with insurance industry standards, and conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of claim information.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or a related field; additional certifications in insurance or claims management are advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict resolution abilities to address claim‑related concerns and inquiries effectively.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple inquiries and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, claim procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Familiarity with claims management processes, including documentation requirements and timeliness.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and establish effective working relationships.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing claim information and documentation.
