Reports to:

North American Chief Litigation and Employment Counsel.

• Provide litigation support for existing and new legal issues facing Syensqo.
• Manage legacy asbestos liabilities and employee claims, including handling outside counsel and liaising with insurance providers.
• Conduct factual investigations, manage document collections and reviews, and assist with discovery in complex, mass‑tort litigation.
• Advise on and manage legal holds, data retention, and document collections for multiple litigations across the U.S.
• Respond to third‑party subpoenas and other procedural matters.
• Assist with environmental and commercial litigation, including tort claims, contract disputes, and personal injury cases.

• JD degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Strong academic credentials; background in environmental or chemical sciences or engineering is desirable but not required.

• 5–7 years relevant experience in a law firm or corporate legal department with strong knowledge of complex and mass‑tort litigation.
• Experience with employment claims and environmental matters is a plus.

• Creative problem‑solving and sound judgment in assessing legal matters.
• Business‑focused advice with cost/benefit analysis.
• Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple time‑sensitive projects.
• Willingness to handle competing demands under pressure.
• Scheduling flexibility for matters outside normal business hours when necessary.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Team collaboration, eagerness to learn, and strong interpersonal skills.
• High integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
