Sr Manufacturing Project Manager
Location:
Corporate Office – Alpharetta, GA
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr Project Manager with a track record in delivering results within a manufacturing company to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. This role will lead strategic initiatives from planning through execution, meet business objectives, drive operational efficiency, and enhance stakeholder value.
Key Responsibilities- Drive cross‑functional teams to successfully deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget, with a focus on production, process optimization, and plant operations.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects involving manufacturing scale‑up, process improvements, and technology integration while maintaining clear prioritization.
- Lead end‑to‑end M&A and integration initiatives, including post‑close activities, planning, execution, and KPI tracking.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks/blockers including those related to safety & regulatory compliance.
- Foster cross‑functional collaboration across teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, HR, IT, and Legal to ensure seamless execution.
- Communicate regularly with executive leadership and stakeholders; lead updates with the Project Team and Steer Co.
- Manage change control processes related to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Maintain documentation of integration processes and decisions.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions and implement feedback to improve future project delivery and manufacturing efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong, responsive relationships with stakeholders to ensure customer delight requirements are consistently met and exceeded.
- Successful delivery of assigned projects On‑Time, On‑Budget, and In‑Scope.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in championing world‑class project management values and principles across the organization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Business Administration, or Project Management.
- PMP, CSP, or CTC certification required.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing and/or project management experience.
- Proven track record of leading successful post‑acquisition integrations.
- Strong understanding of M&A lifecycle, due diligence, and change management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management.
- Experience driving cross‑functional teams in complex manufacturing organizations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and align diverse teams toward common goals.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Planner.
- Familiarity with project governance and stage‑gate processes.
- Experience in innovative/R&D environments is a plus.
