As our financial operations continue to expand, we’re seeking a Director of Accounting to lead our accounting team, strengthen internal controls, and ensure accuracy and timeliness across all financial reporting functions.

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger

• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes with strict adherence to deadlines

• Lead internal and external audit preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP standards

• Perform and review account reconciliations for all key accounts, including balance sheet and bank accounts

• Analyze and prepare detailed financial statements

• Maintain and enhance internal accounting controls and documentation

• Supervise, train, and mentor accounting team members—establishing accountability and process consistency

• Collaborate with operations and project management teams to align financial reporting with business performance

• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and reporting efficiencies

• Utilize Quick Books to manage financial transactions and reporting

• Active CPA license (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations

• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

• Advanced proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

• Construction industry experience preferred but not required
