The Crane Operator/Loader is responsible for handling materials as related to the shipping and receiving of inventory and customer orders. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

• Crane and Forklift Operation:
  Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Product Knowledge:
  Understand the products handled, including color coding and customer specifications; read and interpret all measuring devices.
• Shipping and Receiving:
  Unload and receive inbound stock shipments and load outbound shipments, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
• Loading Procedures:
  Safely load trucks, including proper chaining and tarping of trailers.
• Additional Duties:
  Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years operating overhead cranes in an industrial or distribution environment.
• Certification:
  Valid certification to operate overhead cranes is required.
• Education:
  
  High School diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Regulations Knowledge:
  Understanding of DOT regulations regarding load weight.
• Safety and Procedures:
  Ability to follow safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Dependability:
  Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Learning and Training:
  Willingness to learn new skills and train others.
• Physical Examination:
  Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
• Reliability:
  Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Attention to Detail:
  Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all tasks.
