Warehouse Worker / Laborer / Sorter

• Sorting Materials
  :
  Efficiently sort various materials, including recyclables and waste, ensuring proper categorization for further processing.
• Operating Equipment
  :
  Operates sorting machinery and equipment, such as conveyor belts, balers, and compactors, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Inspection and Maintenance
  :
  Regularly inspect materials for contamination and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to supervisory personnel. Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Safety Compliance
  :
  Follows safety regulations and maintains a clean and safe working environment, including cleaning equipment and disposing of waste properly.
• Physical Stamina
  :
  Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items, as the role involves manual labor.
• Attention to Detail
  :
  Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting and compliance with recycling standards.
• Teamwork
  :
  Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a crucial role in promoting environmental sustainability by ensuring that recyclable materials are properly sorted and processed, contributing to waste reduction efforts.

• Long term position with no experience needed; training provided.

1st shift: 5:30am - 4:30pm, 11-hour shifts

$16.00/hr with overtime paid after 40 hours and time-and-a-half thereafter

Monday - Friday, and Saturdays if needed
