American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is seeking a Media Relations & Communications Coordinator in Alpharetta, GA. You will support Honda Powersports & Products press operations, coordinating public relations, media product loans, and on-site media interactions for Honda Marine and Power Equipment lines.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with endemic, mainstream, and social media outlets and brand ambassadors to promote Honda products.
- Oversee press vehicle inventory, forecasting and ordering marine and power equipment units for media loans.
- Coordinate transportation logistics, reviewing trucking quotes and scheduling equipment pickups.
- Review agency press releases and technical media materials to ensure brand messaging accuracy.
- Deliver on-site media support at trade shows, boat shows, and product launch events.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or marketing (powersports/marine preferred).
- Solid mechanical understanding of internal combustion engines and marine/power equipment products.
- Comfortable public speaking to large groups and working directly with journalists and influencers.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification and safely manage equipment loading/unloading at events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
