Position: Quality Manager - Nutraceutical Company

Quality Manager - Nutraceutical Company - Alpharetta, GA

A leading nutraceutical company is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all products and processes, from raw materials to finished goods.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and systems to ensure the consistency and reliability of all products.
  • Conduct regular audits of all production processes to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the laboratory testing of raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and other departments to continuously improve quality systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain an effective training program for all employees to ensure their understanding of quality procedures and requirements.
  • Manage the resolution of customer complaints and non-conformances, working with other departments to implement corrective actions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality management in a nutraceutical or food manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage a team of quality technicians.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and laboratory testing software.
