Summary of Responsibilities

The Regional Quality Leader is a key member of the Mativ Quality Leadership Team, responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and delivery of customer satisfaction. This role reports to the Mativ Global Quality Leader.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide quality leadership for the North American Region, fostering a culture of quality, and collaborating with functional leadership in alignment with Mativ values and delivery of key performance indicators.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and processes to drive regulatory compliance, quality system improvement, and standardization.
  • Lead a team of quality professionals, building strong teams and developing capabilities to support diverse markets and requirements.
  • Partner with the manufacturing sites to improve customer satisfaction, ensuring effective and timely resolution of quality and audit issues and escalations.
  • Represent the Quality function in the New Product Development and Management of Change processes.
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying key trends and driving continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or another technical field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality management role.
  • Proven results in leading manufacturing quality teams and quality management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or IATF 16949.
  • Strong leadership, project management, interpersonal, presentation and training skills.
  • Expertise and experience with key quality systems and techniques such as CAPA, Complaint Handling, PFMEAs, PPAPs, Design and Development, Management of Change, Management Review, Internal Audit, Nonconformance Management, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Capability Analysis and Measurement System Analysis (MSAs).
  • Expertise and experience with Medical Device and OTC Drug quality systems and techniques, such as process validation, software validation, sterilization, design controls a plus.
  • Strong problem solving and statistical analysis skills. Lean Six Sigma and ASQ Certification a plus.
  • Strong skills in various applications including Microsoft, Minitab, and ERP and eQMS systems.
