Description And Requirements:
The Merchandiser Mandate Retail Service Lead represents Acosta, our clients and customers by effectively leading and performing reset and remodel work, including, but not limited to, the proper implementation of plan‑ograms, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, quick learner, with strong attention to detail, and works well in both team and independent situations.
They must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with business partners.
What will you do?
- Serve as a team lead in the organization and execution of reset, partnering with store personnel for scheduling and communication.
- Read and follow a plan‑ogram to complete reset, with working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology.
- Perform duties such as moving and cleaning shelves, displaying merchandise properly, attaching tags, checking date codes, and processing pack‑outs, restocks and reorders.
- Partner with store personnel and co‑workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence.
- Report observations and issues to the immediate supervisor.
- Accurately use web‑based applications to manage work availability, schedule, assignments, documentation, time, mileage and expenses, and to complete training activities.
- Prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned reset.
- Perform the job safely by following Acosta policies and standard operating procedures, using proper safety techniques and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of customer service experience preferred (retail or reset responsibility preferred).
- Demonstrated core competencies: quality commitment, attention to detail, customer service, effective communication.
- Comfortable using technology (smartphones, handheld devices).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work in cold environmental conditions (refrigerated/freezer sections) for limited periods.
- Operational skills with computer, calculator, telephone, copier; ability to stand on a step stool.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, decision‑making, and leadership skills.
- Daily internet access and proficiency with web‑based applications, email, and basic computer applications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
